What is schizophrenia? and long term effect of pot?

My wife of 30 years has been diagnosed as having Paranoid Schizophrenia, I have tried to read up on the subject, but all symptoms are genarised into one diagnosis, I have learned that the brain works by producing "Dopermine" It allows the connections of Neurons that allow us to think, too much makes us Schitzophrenic and too little turns us into Zombies, The drugs that they give reduces the Dopermine, so makes the person a vedgetable, Schitzophrenia has many diferent symptoms and can be diferent in diferent people, They do not know what causes Schitzophrenia, Genetic, Enviorment or Drugs, So Just saying that Drugs cause this is, opting out of actualy finding out, Doctors.... EH!
