Silentforce's Dream Journal

In my dream I see this odd building. It looks like a floating house made from purple and blue sheer panels of fabric. The sign outside says Metaphysical Luxury Apartments. I start to walk down the corridors and I see various people in the rooms. In room 101 there is a young girl surrounded by animals and small statues. I think they might be lions, but I can't see that well. the next room has a question mark on the door and inside is a woman making what I assume to be prime rib. She has two small children "helping" her. One little brown haired boy and one dirty blond haired girl. The next room is 17 and there is a man in there. His room is decorated with a clown theme. We wave at each other and I go up a flight of stairs. There is no climbing, rather I float up while holding the banister. On the second floor is a big ballroom that looks like something out of Arabian Nights. All the tenants are gathered and having a New Year celebration. I notice that there is a Jumbo Tron that we are all supposed to watch the ball drop on. I also notice that as the countdown happens the ball goes from down to up instead of up to down. i ask the lady who loves red next to me if that is normal and she says yes. After I celebrate with a glass of champagne, I continue exploring. There is a third floor that only has two apartments. In 333 there is a tall blond woman holding a briefcase. She's dressed in a black pantsuit and she has a distinctive dimple on one cheek. She ushers me to the next door. This one is the only one that closed. We knock on the door which doesn't have a number. It has three letters. LMS. The person isn't home so the lady opens the door and shows me in. The whole place is painted in dark blue. It looks like somewhere the sand man would live. The entire place promotes a sense of peace and relaxation. I look at the projection of the clock on the wall and realize that I have to go. I head to my own apartment on the first floor. It looks like an indoor zen garden. I get this overwhelming feeling of homecoming and happiness. I sit down on this river stone filled inset on the floor and face the bamboo. I start to meditate. That is when I woke up.

What a nice dream. Symbolically it's very good.
A house represents "our selves", different parts of the house represent different aspects of ourselves and being in a beautiful house is a very good sign. Upper floors means our spirituality, the higher up and nicer it is, the better you feel about where you're going spiritually (quick lose translation)

I'm sure the colors and numbers have great meaning, but I can't get into that right now...
I think it's wonderful that you have such vivid recall of your dreams.

Thank you for the interpretation. I'm not very good at analyzing my own dreams. I always think I'm getting what I want to out of them rather than what they actually mean. If that makes sense.

I wonder if you could tell me what it means when you have the same dream with only very small variations. I had the same dream again last night, but the house is on a beach instead of in a city. The clowns in the clown room were all harlequin clowns instead of circus clowns. On the third floor the woman was dressed in a white suit and her hair was black instead of blond.

Are changes like these normal and meaningless or are they important? Does it symbolize my desire to change or is it a warning?

This is yet another reason I don't analyze my own dreams. lol

Well, I believe you're as good as or better then anyone else for dream interpretation for yourself...but, I totally understand that it's hard to do it for your self. Unless a dream of mine is obvious, I have a hard time understanding it too.
That's when I can remember them...

I would say that yes the changes are normal, because you're changing and evolving everyday. So, unless you "felt" something negative in a dream, I wouldn't worry.
It seems to me the dream last night was just as positive as the one from the other night...only maybe seeing other aspects of it...white as apposed to black, beach instead of a city
If I had to take it as a sign of anything, I guess I would see it as further development of your inner self
Just my guesses :crystalball: :D
